The crown jewel of this season for the Florence High School Players is in the final stages of rehearsal. The spring musical, “You’re a Good Man
Charlie Brown,” based on the Charles Schultz’ popular Peanuts comic strip, chronicles the events of a day in the life of Charlie Brown and his imaginative beagle, Snoopy. Performances are scheduled for Friday, May 1,st and Saturday, May 2,nd in the Florence High School Cafeteria with a curtain time of 7:30 pm. This production marks a first for the FHS Theatre program, in that it will take this show on the road, to Magma Ranch, K-8 on May 8 and 9, with curtain time at 7:00pm. Skate Castle had their Grand-Opening Event Saturday, April 18th. Lots of kids came out to the event to take advantage of the "Free Skate." New owner of Skate Castle, Debby Tibbs, did a special skating performance and showed what it takes to be a National Champion skater.
