Roosevelt Lake Report

Roosevelt Lake Elevation is 2,150 ft (99-percent full). Tonto Creek runoff is at 27 cfs while inflow from the Salt River is at 393 cfs. Anglers are reporting action all day. One angler mentioned the fish were hanging out between the surface to about 20 feet deep. He had good fishing from mid-lake to the Salt end. Anglers are seeing the shad boils and Zara Puppy stick baits seem to do the trick along with some Rat-L-Traps in the coves. The larger fish were in the trees and were susceptible to c-rigged worms. Drop shot is another method largemouth are falling for. The crappie bite is heating up for night fishermen using minnows under green crappie lights. The crappie were spawned out and the yellow bass wanted some minnows too. These anglers ended up taking home 31 crappie and a dozen yellow bass.
