Arlene Fay Kast, age 78, of San Carlos, Arizona, passed away on Aug. 13, 2023, at San Carlos Apache Health Care in Peridot, Arizona. She was born on Aug. 12, 1945, in San Carlos, Arizona to David and Marjorie Miles.
Arlene’s family saw her as a glam queen, as she had a love for anything with diamonds. She was a fan of detective and true crime shows. Arlene was also an artist. She had a special relationship with every family member and loved every single one of her grandchildren deeply.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Kast, Sr., her parents David and Marjorie Miles, sister Norma Fowler, and brothers Daniel and Dale Miles.
Arlene is survived by her children Douglas Miles, Sr., Juanita Hooke (Howard, Jr.), Arlene Pemberton (Floyd), Jo Lazo (Tom), and David Kast, Jr.; siblings David Miles III, Duane Miles, Francis Ring-Lero, Dwight Miles, Joanna Miles-Long and Sharon Miles; and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral Services were held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, Arizona. A viewing was held after the service.
Interment followed at the San Carlos Cemetery in San Carlos, Arizona.
