John Francis Yanora, Sr.

John Francis Yanora, Sr. was born in McPherson, Kansas on Oct. 30, 1944. He joined the Navy on Aug. 7, 1962 out of Sunny Moad Riverside, California. He served on board the U.S.S. Hawkins DD873 as a gunners mate.
He then got honorably discharged on April 15, 1965.
He then started his career as a cross country

Jeanne Guadiana, 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 in her home in Miami, Ariz. Jeanne was born in Onawa, Iowa on Aug. 18, 1943. She graduated from Safford High School.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Alice Moon and her loving and devoted husband, Mike Guadiana. She is survived by her loving and caring

Wiona Evelyn Trobaugh, age 96, of Globe, Ariz. passed away on Feb. 1, 2017 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center. She was born in Young, Ariz. on March 21, 1920, the daughter of Eva L. (Brewer) and William L. Turner. She was a homemaker. She was raised and schooled in Young, Ariz. When she was 17, Wiona married James Tyree.

Lena Culpepper Holmes

Lena Culpepper Holmes, 72, was born to Homer and Nela Culpepper on Feb. 29, 1944 in Miami, Ariz. She was a leap year baby and celebrated 18 real birthdays. Lena grew up in Globe, Ariz. and moved to Texas after she married.
After a couple of years in Texas, Lena relocated to Globe and raised her three children.

Robert S. Hernandez

Robert S. Hernandez, former resident of Globe-Miami, passed away at his home in Catalina, Ariz. on Jan. 14, 2017. Robert was born July 5, 1928 in Marfa, Texas. He is proceeded in death by his son, Richard Hernandez and grandson, Robert Hernandez.
Robert, lovingly known as "Cocono" or "Socks," was a miner for 40 years. He started at Castle Dome

William ‘Bill’ Allen Olmstead

William "Bill" Allen Olmstead, 74, a long-time Globe resident, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side, on Jan. 29, 2017.
Born in Golden, Colorado, Bill moved with his family to Inspiration, Ariz. at age 12. He graduated from Miami High School in 1961 and attended Northern Arizona University.
He resided in Flagstaff and Globe, holding sales

Arthur Joseph Heroux III

Arthur Joseph Heroux III passed away at age 69 on Jan. 17, 2017, after a brief illness at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Cranston, Rhode Island, on Sept. 19, 1947, to Mary Leach and Arthur Heroux. He was brother to John Heroux and Mickey Heroux. Art is survived by his wife, Susan; his children, Jennifer Heroux, Jessica Murphy,
