Amanda Denton, age 44, of Miami, Arizona, passed away on Oct. 9, 2022 at home.
She was born in Miami, Arizona on July 19, 1978, to Barbara (Sartain) and James Denton. She spent much of her life in Miami, Arizona. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and niece.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her son, Michael, was the light of her life and she enjoyed anything that brought him happiness. She was known as “Mema” to the young children in her life and neighborhood, and she enjoyed playing and spending time with them.
She was a medical transport driver to local residents for several years.
Amanda is preceded in death by her mother Barbara and father James.
She is survived by her son Michael Denton, her siblings Shalena Denton and Jarrod Denton, aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Jan. 21, 2023 at 11 a.m., at the Divine Grace Presbyterian Church, 305 Live Oak St. in Miami, Arizona.
