Get set to celebrate America’s most sacred holiday with the Cobre Valley Independence Day Celebration. Look forward to a weekend full of events for the whole family.

Kick off the evening on Friday, July 1, with the First Friday event in Historic Downtown Globe.

Experts and newbies welcomed. Learn about proper firearm handling and care. Bring your own, or shoot one on hand; limited ammo will be provided, including an AR style rifle, 9mm, 38 Special pistols and .22 rimfire rifles and pistols. Join in the .22 golf ball shoot and test your aim!

Gear back up for the evening of Saturday, July 2, for Rodeo Style family fun at the Gila Co. Cattle Growers grounds off Hwy. 188 across from the Bixby Rd. turnoff. Games, competitions and showcases are on the way. Our audience will be more than spectators! Stay tuned…
