The first Globe-Miami Speedway annual reunion will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at Apache Gold Casino in the Conference Center from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Have you ever wondered what happened to the drivers that raced at the Globe-Miami Speedway? Find out from former race car drivers and track officials at the first Annual Reunion. Fans will have the opportunity to talk with drivers and relive the excitement during the glory of the Globe-Miami track, which had been called, “The Auto Racing Granddaddy” of them all.
The Globe-Miami Speedway is a key fixture in the history of Southern Gila County.
Featured will be the induction of the drivers and track officials to the Globe-Miami Speedway Hall of Fame. Included in the event are videos and photos from the glory days of “Gila County Thunder”. There will also be door prizes and those in attendance are encouraged to share their most memorable moments.
Admission is only $10 per person. The evening promises to be one to remember for all local racing enthusiasts and the general public.
