I-10, US 60 maintenance restrictions scheduled Dec. 11

Bridge inspection set along eastbound I-10 at Gila River Bridge

Posted

Maintenance work will require restrictions along eastbound Interstate 10 south of Chandler and eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in Mesa on Tuesday, Dec. 11, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Drivers should allow extra travel time and use caution when approaching and traveling through work zones while the following restrictions are in place:

Eastbound Interstate 10 narrowed to one lane at the Gila River Bridge from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, for bridge inspection. Allow extra travel time and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching the work zone. A 13-foot vehicle width restriction will also be in place.

The eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) ramp to northbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, for pavement maintenance. Consider alternate routes, including using the eastbound US 60 ramp to southbound Loop 202 before exiting at Guadalupe Road and making left turns to access northbound Loop 202.
