Jimmy K. Ownsby, 74, of Globe, Arizona, died Aug. 27, 2022 at his home.
Mr. Ownsby was born Jan. 19, 1948, in Pampa, Texas, to Elmer and Effie Jo Ownsby.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Ownsby of Globe; sons Jimmy Varnell of Houston, Texas, and Larry Ownsby and Mathew Ownsby of Globe; daughter Jennifer Gilstrap of Arizona City, Arizona; brother Ray Ownsby of Tucson, Arizona and sister Jo Ann DeMoss of Utah, along with several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Ownsby, mother, Effie Jo Ownsby, and brother Don Ownsby.
Memorial will be held at Living Waters Church, 125 Haskins Rd., Globe, Arizona on Sept. 24, 2022 at 10 a.m. followed by a reception at the Globe-Miami Gun Club, at 2675 N. Bixby Rd. in Globe.
