Lael Rose Taylor

Lael Rose Taylor, age 87, passed away peacefully on Feb. 10, 2019, with family by her side.

She was born March 5,1931 in Globe, Ariz. to Squire Edward and Lillian Sue Rose. She grew up in Globe and attended Globe High School. After which she attended Brigham Young University in Utah, with a major is English. She married Lynn Taylor on July 15, 1953 in Globe. She owned a children’s’ clothing store, Peter Pan, on Broad Street. She and her husband, Lynn, owned Taylor Realty and worked as realtors in Globe. She and Lynn happily served two service missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ghana, Africa and Guyana, South America. Lael also took joy in volunteering at the hospital where she was a greeter and worked in the gift shop. Lael delighted in being a wife, mother and grandmother. She always made her and Lynn’s home a place that everyone wanted to be and took so much pride in that.

Lael leaves behind her four children, Rickie, Rebecca, Janalyn and Kevin, 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is so loved by her family and made them all feel so loved in return. 

Family, friends and others whose lives Lael touched are invited to attend a funeral in her honor held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center, 1701 N. Broad St., Globe.

Viewing starting at 11 a.m., funeral services to follow at Noon on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019.

Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
