Leonard Allen Sanders, age 61, of Globe, Ariz., passed away on Oct. 16, 2018 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz.
He was born in Superior, Ariz., on Oct. 23, 1956, the son of Leonard A. Sanders and Charlotte K. (Estes) Sanders.
He was raised and schooled in Globe, Ariz., graduating from Globe High School in 1974. He worked construction most of his life at the mines and with Dalmolin Construction Co. He loved team roping, fishing and water toys. Leonard enjoyed being outdoors going to yard and estate sales.
He was preceded in death by his brother Eugene Sanders.
Leonard is survived by his children Nicole Gregory (Darrell) and Ty Sanders (Erin).
Memorial services were held on Wed. Oct. 24, 2018, at the LDS Stake Center in Globe, Ariz.
Assisting the family was Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
