Posted

One of Globe-Miami’s most popular and iconic painters, artist Patty Sjolin - joins creative fabric artists of the Copper Country Quilters for a gallery opening reception March 7, also a Saturday evening,  at 6 p.m. at the Center for the Arts. The quilt show is among annual traditions at the CVCA; admission’s free - and you’ll be amazed at the creativity and range of Globe-Miami fabric artists. Drive through downtown Miami for a preview of Patty Sjolin’s style -- in recent years her vivid murals have transformed an abandoned alley into a colorful oasis - one side of a concrete bridge into an inspiring message. See more of her work: everything from tranquil undersea murals to rusted roofing panels repurposed with colorful portraits of the Sonoran Desert’s own plucky little Gambel’s Quail, get acquainted on Facebook (search for psjolin1).
