Thanks to all who supported Miami Fiesta 2018

Every year on a Saturday in September the Town of Miami is transformed: Bullion Plaza Museum and Cultural Center Park fills with music, food and fun for our families and friends. On Sept. 8 the Miami Fiesta bloomed and shined for another year.

The Chihuahua Races hummed with excitement, running, jumping, yelping from the owners, then off raced the dogs! Our first-place winner was Jeff; second-place was Pachito and third-place, Henry. Each of our glorious winners received ribbons, certificates and cash prizes provided by Jerry and Marcia Barnes.

“Kiddy Land” was kindly supervised by the Miami Arts Commission bringing their arts and crafts and watching over our kids as they played on all the terrific interactive rides. The Miami Business Association provided the “Piñata Breaks” throughout the day, a great tradition enjoyed by all the kids.

The night lit up brightly with our new park lights, as Neto Vasquez and his band Imagine played while couples danced, and others swayed in their chairs late into the evening.

The Miami Fiesta is a historic festival established by Hispanic businessmen and leaders so very long ago to highlight and celebrate the Latino heritage in our community. That same passion lives on in the all the great folks that contribute, volunteer and work on this special day.

The Town of Miami and Miami Genesis Economic Development Board are grateful for all the help and sponsorship we received for the Fiesta, so a very big thank you to the following;
