He was born in Miami, Arizona on Sept. 21, 1961 to Verdell and Joyce Hamlet. He graduated from Miami High School. Troy was such a happy, easygoing, simple man and loved to laugh. He loved to be around his family and friends. His family meant the world to him. He coached his daughter’s little league softball team for four years, taking first place three years and coaching their all-star team. Troy loved his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of all of them and would tell everyone he talked to about them. He loved to joke around. He was always laughing and making dumb dad jokes. He loved going to the Arizona Speedway to watch dirt track racing, and collecting Harley Davidson, #24 Jeff Gordon NASCAR and Chicago Bears memorabilia. Troy was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a heart of gold and a contagious laugh.
