Linda was born in Pomerene, AZ, living most of her life in the Globe area.

Linda is survived by an older brother, Tony Guerrero (Cruz), and three younger sisters - Yolanda Bird (Keith), Norma Caldera (Eddie) and Bettina Amado, as well as a myriad of nieces and nephews - grand, great and great-great.

She had many jobs throughout her life, but the most prominent was working at the old El Rey Cafe of Globe for 35 years.

We mourn the loss of our sister Linda who was loved by all her family. As her siblings, we have memories of such great times that are still strong in our minds. She was a second mother to us younger ones, at times firm, but always fun.

She shared a special bond with her nieces and nephews who affectionately called her Lala. Much time was spent watching movies and laughing, playing games and laughing, and having sleepovers, and yes, laughing.

She was also an animal lover. She treated them as she did her family - with love and kindness.

While she may be gone, our lives will continue to be filled with memories full of laughter that she added to our lives. We’ll miss her smile and the warmth of her presence.

A Celebration of Life for La will be held Saturday, August 3, at the old Train Depot in Globe from 1-4 p.m.

The family was assisted by Bulman Miles Funeral Services Globe, www.bulmanmiles.com.
