The 2018 soccer calendar:
May 12 – Registration opens;
June 2 — Registration event at Globe Public Library, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
June 4-8 – Challenger Soccer Camp. Go to www.challenger,configio.com for more information;
July 28 — Registration event Globe Public Library, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
Aug. 4 — Registration event Globe Public Library, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
Aug. 5 — Waitlist registration begins;
Aug. 11 — All coaches meeting and training, time and location TBA. Coaches will contact teams after Aug. 11;
Aug. 18 — Field setup, time TBA. As many volunteers as possible will be needed, so anyone who can help should contact AYSO;
Aug. 20 — Practices start this week;
Sept. 8 — First day of games;
Oct. 13 — AYSO gives back day; and,
Oct. 27 — Last day of games with closing ceremonies at 1 p.m.
Early bird soccer season registration takes place from May 12 through June 15 and the cost is $60. Soccer season registration from June 16 to Aug. 4 is $65. VIP, $20.
