Hello from the Globe Active Adult Center. Our Rummage Sale will be Monday, Sept. 23 through Friday, Sept. 27 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lots of good stuff and great prices. Our activities include video exercise Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m., stretch & flex Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m., bingo Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m., ceramics Wednesdays at 9 a.m. and crafts Fridays at 9 a.m. We serve biscuits & gravy Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m., for $3 per bowl. PGCSC/SHIP and Ombudsman Education is every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 11 a.m. Heritage offers blood pressure checks and nutritional education every 1st Thursday of the month at 10:30 a.m. For benefits assistance, call the Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens at 1-800-293-9393. Lunch served Monday thru Friday at 11:45 a.m. 60 and over is $2.50 per meal, under 60 $5 per meal. We are located at 579 S. Broad St.; our phone number is928-425-9030.
