Jerome Wiley, Sr., age 86, of San Carlos, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Ariz.
He was born in Globe, Ariz. on Aug. 10, 1930, the son of Frank and Ethel (Gusdil) Wiley. He worked for security at the Tribal convenience store and also the lake convenience store. He also worked as a Juvenile Officer.
Jerome loved fishing, was an avid reader and enjoyed watching old Western movies. His favorite actors were Audie Murphy and Gene Autry.
Jerome is survived by his wife, Bertie Lou (Kidde) Wiley; his children, Ethelena Allen, Arlene Wiley, Lorena Denver, Deborah Pechuli, Darlelne Welsh, Larry Wiley, Sr., and Gary Wiley; his sister, Lillian Welsh; 22 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Wake was held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Ethelena Allen’s residence in San Carlos. Funeral Services were held on Saurday, May 6, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Gilson Wash Activity Center in San Carlos. Interment at San Carlos Cemetery.
