Johnnie Mantolete (74): March 6, 1948 – Oct. 28, 2022
Born in Zoar, Ohio, Johnnie Dale Mantolete moved to Arizona in 1956. He grew up in the Superior area. Joining the Navy while still in high school, he would finish boot camp before he graduated high school. He would go on to serve in Vietnam on board the USS Coral Sea. A lifelong resident of the Globe/Miami area, he passed away in his home with his family after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Johnnie was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years Christine (Repnick) Mantolete, father John Mantolete of Superior, mother Betty Mantolete of Superior, great-grandmother Ester Blackson of Superior and sister Angela. He is survived by his sister Bonnie Mantolete, three daughters Elizabeth (Kelly) Angel, Jennifer Webster and Rana (Heath) White, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes there will be no services.
