IN MEMORY OF JOHNNY "CHOPPER" VASQUEZ
Johnny Moreno Vasquez, age 79, of Mesa, Arizona, graduated into Heaven on January 20, 2025, surrounded by his son.
Johnny was born on November 5, 1945, in Casa Grande, AZ. He graduated as a profound athlete from Globe High School in Globe, AZ in 1964 and was shortly drafted into the United States Army.
Johnny graduated from bootcamp and AIT in Fort Bliss, Texas with the MOS 88M (Motor Transport Operator) as a skilled driver for all tactical wheeled vehicles in support of combat operations. He was also recognized as a sharpshooter and received a National Defense Service Medal for his excellent marksmanship, Johnny was honorably discharged from the U.S Army as a Private First Class.
He was a loving son, father, and grandfather. To all those who knew him he was hard-working, fun-loving, with a larger-than-life personality and an even bigger heart. He was passionate about sports, motorcycles, loved music, and often shared these passions with his family and friends.
You would always find Johnny as the fun one anywhere he went, he was always playing jokes on others, middle finger in every picture, or had a sarcastic remark to make sure he always made you laugh.
It was always Johnny's heart to help anyone in need, he would do anything for anyone without ever asking for anything in return. He was your loyal friend and loved nothing more than to spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived and forever missed by his son, grandkids, great-grandkids, daughter in law, girlfriend, and her son.
