The suggested donation is $2 for ages 60 and up. People under 60 can also enjoy lunches for $4 and are welcome any time.
Thursday, Dec. 5 —Bingo 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans, carrots, French bread, pineapple
Friday, Dec. 6 — Coffee club 8-10 a.m., Karaoke 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Fish, augratin potatoes, spinach, cornbread, banana
Monday, Dec. 9 — Coffee club 8-10 a.m.
Menu: Chile beans, yellow squash, baked potatoes, wheat crackers, ambrosia salad
Tuesday, Dec. 10 —Loteria 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Green chile casserole, Mexican corn, refried beans, Spanish rice, oranges
Wednesday, Dec. 11 — Coffee club 8-10 a.m., Biscuit and Gravy $2
Menu: Baked lemon chicken, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, stuffing, pears with cottage cheese
All meals are served with 1 percent milk.
Miami Senior Center cannot deliver homebound meals without authorization from a case manager. Many people believe that they just have to call the center to receive a meal, but they must be referred through Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens. Call 1-800-293-9393.
