Our precious Ruby-Ray Galvan was born on January 2, 2025, @ 9:36 p.m. at Cobra Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona to Faith Galvan and Julio Valesquez Jr both of Miami.
With-in an hour of Ruby-Rays birth, she was struggling to breath and was airlifted to Thunderbird Banner Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Once Ruby-Ray was examined it was determined that Ruby-Ray had some more serious health problems and needed to be airlifted again to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
Once Ruby-Ray was examined by the medical staff it was discovered through an ultra-sound that Ruby- Ray needed to have an emergency heart procedure as the medical staff diagnosed her with a very rare heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. As the medical staff explained, this condition takes at least three open heart surgeries and would require medical treatment through-out her life. Ruby-Ray underwent her first heart procedure to try and stabilize her for the upcoming open-heart surgery. It was discovered that Ruby-Ray’s heart was more complex as she had thickening cartridge around her heart. This prevented Ruby-Ray from receiving the surgeries needed to save her life.
On January 4, 2025, Ruby-Ray was baptized at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. On January 10, 2025, at 5:10 p.m. Ruby-Ray was taken peacefully surrounded by her loving family as she entered the Kingdom of Heaven. Although Ruby-Ray made her statement here on earth for the 8 days she was here, she truly touched all of our hearts. She was so perfect and beautiful. She is with now with our Lord and surround by many Angels. It’s been hard to accept that God had bigger plans for our beautiful girl Ruby-Ray. Our memories of Ruby-Ray will be cherished for eternity.
