The Lee Kornegay Intermediate School’s Student Council raised $755.88 from the Penny Bomb Wars fundraiser for the High Desert Humane Society. The “Penny Bomb Wars” was an event that involved pennies and silver coins. The pennies were used as soldiers while the silver coins were used as bombs to take soldiers from other classes. The Student Council Members presented the check to Cynthia Carr, the Board President, at the High Desert Humane Society.
