GLOBE — The Museum is in the historic Mine Rescue Station which is celebrating the 100th anniversary.
The celebration will be held Friday, Jan. 31. The Globe Miami Chamber of Commerce will have a ribbon cutting ceremony to get the evening started at 5 p.m.
The evening celebration will feature, tours of the building, refreshments, hors d’oeuvres, and door prizes. The Gila County Historical Museum Houses exhibits on the mine rescue station. The museum collects and preserves documents relating to our area.
They include a variety of paper and electronic materials, including photographs, periodicals, Globe High School Yearbooks, journals, letters, business and personal papers and maps.
