Timothy “Tim” Smothers, beloved father, friend, and hero, passed away peacefully on Oct. 2, 2024, at the age of 64 in his home in Globe, Arizona. He is survived by his loving children, Samantha and Christopher Smothers; his sister, Tracy Smothers; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Jill; his siblings, Tommy, Vikki, and Luana; and his parents, Junior and Faye Smothers.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Tim’s passion for hockey shaped his values of teamwork, discipline, and loyalty. A lifelong Boston Bruins fan, he carried these traits into his 26-year career as a Phoenix firefighter, where he served with bravery and dedication, earning the admiration of his community.
Tim’s kindness and unwavering support touched the lives of many, making him a hero not just in his profession but in the hearts of those who knew him. Though deeply missed, his spirit and love will live on through cherished memories.
