Residents of Six Shooter Canyon, Kellner Canyon, Deer Creek, the Old SR 88 and Walnut Springs: please mark your calendar and make sure you're not parked on roadways during scheduled chip-sealing and striping during May and June. Gila County Public Works Road Department announced the following schedule of road maintenance, and staff also wants to thank residents in advance for driving slowly through areas signed for roadwork -- and paying close attention to the schedule below, observing all "no parking on roadways" dates specific to each location.
Deer Creek: Chipping on May 11-12, with striping to follow May 18 and June 22.
Old SR 188: Chipping on May 13. Striping will be May 19 through May 20, and May 23
Walnut Springs: Chipping on May 14th. No striping.
Six Shooter Canyon: Chipping on May 18-20. Striping on May 27 and June 25.
Kellner Canyon: Chipping on May 21-22. Striping May 28, also June 25th.
