Carleen Idamae Lambert, age 80, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on June 30, 2023, at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.
She was born in Seattle, Washington on July 30, 1942, to Donald James Calkins and Violet Huldah Cherry.
Carleen worked as a kindergarten teacher at Globe Schools and Destiny Learning Center. She is a mother of 8 children, and she also had 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed songwriting and was an active member of the Globe Christian Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents Donald Calkins and Bill and Violet Cherry, daughter Kathleen Halterman and sister Donna Jon.
She is survived by her children Joel (Jennifer) Lambert, Jeanette (Robert) Iglehart, Rodney (Patricia) Lambert, Mark (Carmen) Lambert, Michael Lambert, Matthew Lambert and John Lambert, and her brothers James (Cathy) Cherry, William (Lydia) Cherry, David Cherry and Lloyd (Barbara) Cherry.
Visitation was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Globe Christian Center in Globe, Arizona.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Globe Christian Center in Globe, Arizona.
Interment followed at the Globe Cemetery.
