Donna Cunningham peacefully passed away from natural causes June 30, 2023, at the age of 94. Donna will be remembered and celebrated at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 220 E. Cedar St. in Globe, on July 17, 2023. Viewing will be at 12:30 p.m., with service following at 1 p.m. and burial in Globe Cemetery immediately after service.
Donna was the beloved daughter and third child (brothers Deward and Dalon deceased) of Irving and Jessie Severance of Milton, Wisc.; wife of Bob L. Cunningham (deceased); mother of Richard (Sandy) and Carl (Katy); grandmother to Heather (Matt ), Christopher (Tauna), Brian (Vicky), Krista (Frank) and Scott (Jessica); and great grandmother to four. Donna was employed for several years at the original Copper Hills and the Gila County Recorder’s Office. Donna was a BSA Cub Scout Den Mother, active in two book clubs, Treasurer and Member of Women of UMC, and member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Donna was an avid sports enthusiast, especially tennis and football, supporting the Green Bay Packers and ASU Sun Devils in all sports! She was loved by all who knew her, and friend to all.
