CCCPlayers have selected the Tony Award winning play, “Lend Me a Tenor,” to be the spring event scheduled for April 26 to 29 and May 4, 5, and 12.

This Ken Ludwig madcap, screwball comedy is set in the fall of 1934 in the city of Cleveland where the Grand Opera Company is primed to welcome world famous Tito Morelli, known as “II Stupendo,” the greatest tenor of his generation, to appear for one night only as Otello.

The star arrives late and through a series of mishaps, it looks like he will not be able to perform. The efforts and actions of the opera company and II Stupendo to salvage the performance will leave audiences teary-eyed with laughter.

The schedule is as follows:

Friday, April 27, 7-9 p.m.
