Trudy Sue (Phillips) Miller, GHS class of 1986, passed away on March 25, 2025 with many loved ones by her side.

Thomas Aguirre, a devoted educator, coach, and respected member of the Globe Community, passed away March 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born on May 11, 1949, in Globe, Arizona. Tom’s journey in education spanned nearly four decades, leaving a lasting impression on the lives of thousands of students in the Globe and San Carlos Communities.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of former Globe/Miami resident Jesus (aka Jesse) Lopez who peacefully left us on March 23rd, 2025, at the age of 96.

Jay Randle Smitch, 85, of Globe, AZ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in his home in Globe Arizona with his Wife of 66 years, Nancy (Smith) Smitch by his side. 

Frances Jane Bechtold passed away in Mesa, Arizona, on February 27, 2025. Jane, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Lubbock, Texas, on August 11, 1944, to Carl W. Bechtold and Virginia Lee Simmons Bechtold.

Lawrence Lopez Contreras “Lazo” was born to Juan Contreras and Emilia Lopez Contreras on August 18, 1937, in Globe Arizona. He came from a large family of 10 brothers and sisters. He passed away at his residence in Globe on February 13, 2025, he was 87 years old.

Dawn Elaine Every Copeland-Yates passed away at the age of 75 on March 15, 2025, surrounded by her family and so much love in Globe, Arizona. Dawn was born on August 24, 1949, in Preston, Minnesota to John Sr. and Vennetta (Sanford) Every.

Mildred Jane Baker born May 14, 1932 to James and Ruby Rariden, Indiana passed away January 24, 2025 at home.

Martha Mani-Alvarez passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, at the age of 76 In Hanford, California. She was born on July 29, 1949, in Miami, Arizona to Anastacio & Uvalda Mani.

Mary Lou Moss (72) of Globe, Arizona passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday, February 19th 2025.

Anthony Julian Rakoczy, died at home on February 6th, 2025. He was born to Julian Rakoczy and Celicia Stefansky Rakoczy on June 4th, 1944, in Hamtramck, Michigan.

Johnny Moreno Vasquez, age 79, of Mesa, Arizona, graduated into Heaven on January 20, 2025, surrounded by his son.

Kevin Wayne Ashford passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025 at his residence in Globe, Arizona. He was born on June 20, 1970 to Marilyn (Thrane/Ashford) Brewer and Robert Ashford in Miami, Arizona.

Daniel L. Lertique passed away on December 24th, 2024 at the age of 73. He was born March 3, 1951 to Levi and Margie Lertique at the old Inspiration Hospital in Miami.

Mary Wilma Bailey age 80 passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side on January 28, 2025.

Our precious mom Pamala (Pam) Marie Hernandez passed away on Nov 17th, 2024 at the age of 82 in Helena, MT, where she was surrounded by loved ones.  She was born in Wallace, Idaho on June 11, 1942 to Agnes Mabel Belgard and William Raymond Smith.  She had 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
